With an operating weight of approximately 25 tonnes and compact transport dimensions of around 10.7 × 2.5 × 3.7 metres, this machine is ideally suited for recycling, biomass and wood waste processing applications. The Morbark Wood Hog 3000 XP is a professional shredder for processing waste wood, green waste and biomass. Available as a trailer version with tow eye, it is a compact machine due to its width of 2.51 cm. The shredder is equipped with a European chassis, so it is street legal and easy to transport.
The shredder has a specially designed feed system for maximum production and efficiency and an aggressive ‘down force’ feed roller with spikes to quickly pull the material in. The feed has an upward rotor for large volumes and dust compression.
Professional features have been added, such as the No-Stress speed monitoring system (MICS) and the DDS detection system (machine automatically reverses in case of metal or other foreign objects).
