New robust shredders are attracting strong attention
Brands such as Neuenhauser and Morbark have been part of Stoevelaar Machinery’s portfolio for many years. More recently, the dealership of Screenbee has also been added. It is therefore beyond doubt that the company from Stegeren possesses extensive experience within the premium recycling machinery segment. Driven by the ambition to continuously optimize and respond to customer needs, the recycling technology specialist decided to introduce its own range of pre-shredders to the market. WOLF, as the newcomer is called, is available in two versions. On the one hand, there is the 47-ton model, the 9500 DT; on the other, the smaller 21-ton 7500 DT. Both machines are highly suitable for reducing wood, green waste, aluminium, light scrap, construction and demolition waste, as well as various other materials.
First WOLF 9500 DT in Belgium for Houtrecyclage Vandendriessche
The WOLF series is quickly gaining ground in the recycling market. In early June, the first WOLF 9500 DT was delivered to Houtrecyclage Vandendriessche in Belgium. The company, based in Ieper, specializes in processing wood and green waste into wood dust, chips, and shavings. In this way, waste wood of types A and B is given a new life as a raw material for the particle board industry or as an energy source for incineration plants. That Houtrecyclage Vandendriessche once again placed an order with Stoevelaar Machinery is no coincidence, but the logical result of many years of cooperation. “In the past, we have already purchased several Morbark machines, including the 6600XT, a Hammel VB 950 DK, and other models from Stoevelaar Machinery, and we are very satisfied with the high level of service,” says owner Lieven Vandendriessche.

“Houtrecyclage Vandendriessche opted for the WOLF 9500 DT in diesel version as a new sustainable investment. This twin-shaft shredder is mounted on a robust tracked undercarriage and equipped with a powerful 765 hp Caterpillar C18 Stage V engine. A smart choice, as this 47-ton machine is capable of processing up to 230 tonnes of waste wood per hour. This performance is not only due to its powerful drive system, but also to the specially designed rotors with curved knives, the tilting infeed hopper, and the two-part discharge conveyor fitted with durable steel cord belts. This unique configuration ensures a constant material flow and, therefore, maximum processing capacity,” explains Ivar Kosters, Sales Manager Benelux at Stoevelaar Machinery.
Extra focus on user-friendliness
That user comfort is also a top priority is reflected in the simple operation and maintenance. The electronic control system makes it possible to monitor the entire process remotely, saving valuable time. In addition, the maintenance-friendly design is a key factor, as the principle of ‘time is money’ certainly applies here. The shredder features a spacious engine compartment with easy access to all components.
